Knox County Health Department To Hold Saturday Clinic Hours For H1N1 Intranasal Mist Vaccinations
Knox County Health Department (KCHD) is holding a H1N1 intranasal vaccination clinic
at 140 Dameron Avenue this Saturday, Oct. 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. H1N1 intranasal vaccinations are free and will be given on a first come, first served basis. No other vaccinations or KCHD services will be available that day.School Announcements

Congratulations to the Powell High School Marching Panther Band! Theyreceived top honors at the Greeneville Classic (Tusculum College) on
Saturday, October 10 for their show "A Tribute to Our Favorite Cinematic
Heroes". Music includes the theme songs from Spiderman, X-Men, Batman, The
Incredibles, and James Bond.
The band came home with all top superior ratings in the categories of Color
Guard, Majorettes, Percussion, Drum Major, and overall Band. After winning
their Division, they also came away with the title "Festival Grand
Champions". What a great accomplishment!!!
Congratulations to the Panther Band, led by drum majors Nick Vesser, Nikki
Moneymaker, and Danny Rose, on a job well done! Good luck this week at the
South-Doyle competition...we're all proud of you!

Home Depot Supports Powell High

Tom is a PHS graduate and has made very generous contributions to the school in many ways. Fans, paint, lumber for several school projects have been made possible by his support.

Just go to GoodSearch.com and select Powell High School as your charity. Then, everytime you conduct a search a penny is donated to Powell High School by GoodSearch.com. A simple way to make a difference at no cost to you. It may not sound like much but if everyone uses it, the pennies will add up pretty quickly.

Many thanks to Scott Nickens and the Clinton Highway Wal-Mart for the support that has been given to PHS. Mr. Nickens has been able to make contributions to PHS for much needed school supplies. Thank you for your continuous support of PHS and our students.
