Mr. Beatty has a BA in Psychology and Religious Studies, as well as a MSSW in Clinical Social Work from UTK. He holds an endorsement in School Social Work with the Tennessee Dept. of Education, and has 22 years of experience as a School Social Worker with Knox County Schools at more than 20 schools. Previous work experience includes Youth Villages outdoor long-tertm residential program, Contact Suicide hotline, and the position of clinical evaluator with Mobile Crisis. Mr. Beatty enjoys church, woodworking, hiking, reading, and caving, and has gone on 24 caving expeditions in the last year.

Scott Goforth

Scott Goforth has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Carson Newman College and a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Tennessee. He has been a school social worker in Knox County for 1999. Mr. Goforth has worked in Elementary Middle and High schools and is currently in his third year at Powell High School. His hobbies are music, history, and playing bass guitar.
